On RAW, Melina made an amazing return following her heel injury back in June! She made her way to the ring to team with Mickie James and Candice Michelle to face Women's Champion Beth Phoenix, Jillian Hall and Katie Lea. The A-List diva was the final competitor tagged into the action and showed she hadn't missed a single step as she unleashed some new moves, including a flipping Sunset Flip/Powerbomb combination on Katie Lea. She showed loads of aggression as she ran to the opponents' corner to shove Jillian off the apron and exchanged blows with The Glamazon. Melina then picked up the win for her team with her Split-Legged pin on Katie.

Melina made her in-ring return this past Thursday night at FCW! Thanks to Linda of our Divas-Unlimited.com forums, we now have some candids from the event in the gallery. This is great and hopefully means that Melina will be returning to WWE rings earlier than January after all!

On the June 5, 2006 episode of RAW, Melina accompanied Johnny Nitro to the ring for yet another singles match. This time, the opponent was Charlie Haas. Melina cheered her man on at ringside, but when it seemed he was in trouble, she got into the ring and pretended to fall, faking injury as a distraction. She proved to be effective as Nitro captured the win.

On May 29, 2006, Melina and Nitro made their debut on RAW after being fired from SmackDown by General Manager Theodore Long. Nitro's first opponent on the brand was none other than WWE Champion John Cena. Melina prepped her man prior to the bout, encouraging him, but he fell short to the champ in the end.

As I promised, we now have a new layout! I think this one is simple, but nice, neat and effective. What do you all think? Leave feedback on the HaloScan above! I have to admit, originally, I was making a layout using pics from Melina's Summer Skin shoot, but I wasn't wild about how it was coming out. But I just love the pic I used from the Morning Flower shoot! Hope you all like this.
 

Melina remains out with her broken heel injury that she suffered on the June 23rd edition of Raw. For those that do not remember, the injury occurred when she fell from the top turnbuckle during a tag match where she teamed with Mickie James against Natalya & Victoria. Melina underwent surgery for the injury and has been rehabbing it since. She is expected back towards the end of 2008 as company officials are not ruling her out for Survivor Series on November 23rd.
